The Basics
Configure Your settings
Import Your Private Key:
To start using the bot, first import your wallet private key to enable transactions like buying, selling tokens, and paying fees. Here's how:
- Export key from wallet: Go to the settings section of your Phantom or wallet provider. Click "Show Private Key," enter your password, and carefully copy your private key into the designated field.
- Insert it into bot: Enter your private key for system verification. A correct key links your wallet to the bot for automated transactions. If there's an error, double-check and retry.
Connections:
RPC Endpoints:
In this section, two required fields have to be filled: the RPC endpoint and the RPC websocket endpoint. You can use Helius, Alchemy, Quicknode, or any other public RPC provider. For better results, use private RPC node providers, depending on your budget. If you start with a free option, Quicknode offers endpoints for free. Alternatively, you can use our endpoint for faster transactions for only 0.3 SOL extra.
Commitment Level:
For maximum safety, choose "Finalized."
For the fastest transactions with higher chance of failed transactions, choose "Processed."
For the medium transaction speeds with less failed transactions choose "Confirmed".
More info here.
Bot Transaction Setup
One Token At A Time:
The "One Token At A Time" feature allows you to snipe tokens individually rather than in bulk. This enhances control over your snipes, enabling smaller strategic investments based on real-time market conditions or personal preferences. It improves flexibility and precision in your trading activities, catering to diverse investment strategies and risk management approaches.
Transaction Executor
In transaction executor, you can choose between default and jito executor:
-
Default Mode:
If you choose default mode, these two fields are crucial:
- Compute Unit Limit: The maximum number of compute units a single transaction can consume. Ensures no transaction monopolizes network resources, maintaining fairness and efficiency. Transactions exceeding this budget are rejected.
-
Compute Unit Price: The cost associated with
executing transactions, measured per compute unit. The price
varies with network congestion, reflecting demand for
processing power.
-
Jito Mode:
If you choose jito mode, these fields are ignored, but the custom fee becomes important.
Custom Fees:
A priority fee to encourage validators to process transactions faster. We suggest not going lower than 0.006 for an advantage in submitting and confirming transactions.
Buy / Sell Settings
Buy Setup
- Quote Mint: Choose between wSOL or USDC. We suggest using wSOL as it is faster and easier to swap for wrapped SOL on jup.ag. Full guide here.
- Quote Amount: The amount of wSOL or USDC the bot will spend for each buy transaction.
- Auto Buy Delay: Sets the delay between consecutive buy attempts to control frequency and avoid market disruption.
- Max Buy Retries: The maximum number of retries if a buy order fails initially.
- Buy Slippage: Acceptable price slippage percentage for executing buy orders.
These settings help the bot buy better by making trades quickly and safely, considering market risks and technical issues.
Sell Setup
Automatic selling is done according to your preferences and configuration:
- Auto Sell: Automatically triggers a sell order when specified conditions are met. Disable for manual selling.
- Max Sell Retries: Number of retries if sell conditions are met but the sale fails initially.
- Auto Sell Delay: Delay in milliseconds after sell conditions are met before executing the sell order.
- Price Check Interval: How often the bot checks the current token price.
- Price Check Duration: Duration the bot monitors the token's price before selling.
- Take Profit: Percentage level at which the bot will automatically sell to lock in profits.
- Stop Loss: Percentage level at which the bot will automatically sell to limit losses.
- Trailing Stop Loss: As the market price of the token increases, the trailing stop loss will automatically adjust upwards, maintaining the same percentage gap below the new higher price as set in Stop Loss field. This ensures that as your profits increase, the stop loss level moves up to lock in those gains. If the market price starts to decline after reaching a peak, the trailing stop loss will not move down. It remains fixed at the highest point it reached during the upward movement, thus securing the highest possible profit.
- Sell Slippage: Allowable price deviation for executing sell orders.
These settings enable automated selling based on market conditions, ensuring flexibility and control over your trading strategy with SOL Sniper Bot.
Safety Settings:
Filters Setup:
These settings protect against rug pulls, scam tokens, and other threats. Despite security measures, malicious developers can still scam users. SOL Sniper Bot offers safety features to mitigate risks:
- Disable Filters: Allows the bot to buy every launched token. Very high risk.
- Filter Check Duration: Interval in milliseconds for the bot to check if a pool matches filters. Setting to zero disables the check, increasing risk.
- Filter Check Interval: Time the bot waits for a pool to match filters before purchasing. Setting to zero disables the interval check, speeding up the process but increasing risk.
- Consecutive Filter Matches: Number of consecutive matches needed before executing a trade to avoid false positives.
- Check If Mutable: Verifies if token metadata are mutable. Buys only if metadata are immutable.
- Check If Socials: Ensures tokens have at least one associated social platform link.
- Check If Mint Is Renounced: Verifies if the token's mint function is renounced to reduce risk of unauthorized token creation.
- Check If Freezable: Avoids purchasing tokens that can be frozen.
- Check If Burned: Verifies if the liquidity pool is burned, indicating a commitment to locking tokens away permanently.
- Min Pool Size: Sets a minimum pool size threshold in SOL for executing purchases.
- Max Pool Size: Sets a maximum pool size threshold in SOL for executing purchases.
These features are essential for customizing the bot's behavior according to risk tolerance and trading strategy.

Support
We have good error handling, and every error should be visible in the logs. If the bot seems frozen:
- There might not be many legit tokens launching on Solana at the moment, so wait.
- Your configuration might cause the bot to skip many tokens, so wait.
- You might be rate-limited by your RPC provider. Check your rate limits on your RPC provider's dashboard.
- A Restart button will appear 15 minutes after the bot starts, allowing you to unblock it at no cost if it freezes.
If your sell transactions fail and you can't sell/swap tokens:
- Liquidity might have been removed (rug pull). Stay safe with better filter configuration.
- For other issues, create a ticket on Discord.
Keeping Your Session Active
The connection generally stays open as long as the browser tab is active and the network connection is stable. Simply switching to another tab will not automatically break the connection. The connection remains open in the background unless the tab becomes inactive for a long period or the browser decides to throttle the background processes, which might lead to disconnections. This behavior can vary depending on the browser and its version.
